We have been learning about 2D shapes. We went into the garden to make the shapes using the things we found. What shapes can you spot? Do you know how many sides and corners they have?

We had fun learning our tricky words. These words have to be learned by looking at them as we cannot sound them out.

Our Visit to Techniquest - A Trip to the Moon

We had fun exploring the activities in Techniquest before embarking on our trip to the moon. Here are some of the photographs! Thanks Mums and Dads for allowing us to go at such short notice. We learned lots about the moon and planets. Ask us about it?

Summer Term Topic

Next term our theme will be a Journey through Space!

Could you please try and bring something related to our topic into school. This could be a model you make, a drawing, an object, a book or anything that may be of interest. The children can then talk about it to the rest of the class.

Just a reminder that there is an inset day on the 12th April but we will re-open on Tuesday 13th April.

Easter Bonnet Parade
